Your mood decides who and what shows up for you. Switch it as often as you like. Everyone you see is up for the same thing.

    Pick a mood

    Six of them, switch whenever. Whatever you pick decides who and what shows up on your map. Everything else disappears.

    See who's around

    The map fills with people and plans in your mood, up to 50 kilometres out. Pull up the list to see everyone by name.

    Join it, or start it

    Public plans take one tap. Private ones you ask to join. Nothing on? Put something up in a few seconds and let people come to you.

    Sort it out in the chat

    A group chat opens for whoever joined. Agree on a time and a spot, drop a pin, go. When it's over, the plan clears itself off the map.

Every plan drops off the map when it's over: at the time the host set, or about four hours after it starts. If you can see it, it's actually happening.

Your pin is never exactly where you are.

An app about location has to get this part right. Your phone tells us where you are. Nobody else is told.

You What others see

Shown 250 m from where you really are.

Every location is snapped to a 250-metre square and pushed a fixed distance from it before it leaves our servers. Tap anywhere on the grid: move inside the same square and the pin others see doesn't budge, so checking again and again can't give you away.

  • Your pin is deliberately off

    Every location is shifted by up to about 400 metres before anyone sees it. Nobody on the map ever gets your real coordinates.

  • Ghost Mode

    Disappear from the map and still see everyone. For 30 minutes, an hour, three hours, or until you switch it back.

  • Get help, inside every plan

    Call 112 in one tap, or tell Moodzy's team and send a live location link to someone you trust. Stop sharing whenever you like.

  • Your number stays yours

    You sign in with your phone number. It's encrypted, and no other user is ever shown it.

  • Adults only

    18 and over, checked at signup. If an account turns out to belong to a minor, we remove it.

  • Report and block, everywhere

    On any profile, chat, plan or post. Reports go to a real person and the logs are kept.

Yes. No subscription, no paid tier and no ad tracking. We don't sell your data either, which is usually the catch.

Not yet. Moodzy is on Android today. The iPhone version is being built, and we'd rather ship it properly than put up a button that goes nowhere.

No. Your phone sends us your real location so we can work out what's nearby, but the pin other people see is shifted by up to about 400 metres on our servers. The shift is fixed for each patch of the map, so looking again and again can't average it out. Nobody on the map gets your exact coordinates.

That's Ghost Mode. You see everyone, nobody sees you. Turn it on for 30 minutes, an hour, three hours, or until you switch it off.

No. There's no swiping, no matching and no romantic framing anywhere in the app. Moodzy is for finding people to actually do something with.
